    I was going to post this on Liza’s Met post, but I figured it would be more relevant here since it deals with a lot of the same issues.

    I know it’s not still there, but when we went on the NYC trip, there was an exhibit on Truth and Illusion in Contemporary Photography, and I think anyone who didn’t get a chance to see it should definitely check it out on the Met’s website (http://www.metmuseum.org/special/reality_check/photography_images.asp). Some are photos of reality that almost look fake, and some are photos (or computer generated graphics staging reality that look real. So yea, check it out.

    Talia, that link doesn’t work. And yes, I agree that the exhibit was AMAZING. I found myself inches away from some of the images trying to tell if it was real or not, and then seeing if I could get passed any of the illusions.
